1. Papa M - Live From a Shark Cage
As a post-rock release (is that what this is? it’s minimal music of some sort), this is an album I may have easily ignored had I just given it a routine headphone listen on a walk to class or while reading. Luckily for myself, I was listening during a long drive with little to distract myself from the music itself. It has a folksy feel to it, but seems to be more interested in the atmosphere that the music presents. I remember Drunken Spree being a stand out, but there really wasn’t much to dislike about this release.
